The Church Foundation Hosts Legacy Planning Workshop

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, The Church Foundation (TCF) hosted a Legacy Planning workshop at St. Paul’s, Oaks. The event welcomed 20 attendees from over five parishes, raising meaningful discussions about faith, stewardship, and planned giving.
The workshop began with an opening prayer led by St. Paul’s rector, the Rev. Jeremiah Mustered.
He went on to outline the topic of the day: “This morning, we will be talking about our legacy—how we want to be remembered."
Legacy planning extends beyond financial wealth; it encompasses the impact we leave on the world through our values, commitments, and faith.
Lori Daniels, Executive Director of The Church Foundation, guided attendees through the various ways parishioners can align their values, desires, and faith with legacy giving. Attendees received a TCF’s End-of-Life Planning Booklet, a valuable resource that outlines key considerations for end-of-life planning.
While the booklet includes three primary sections—Medical Directives, Funeral Planning, and Estate Planning—the workshop focused in depth on the third section, helping attendees better understand the significance of estate planning within a faith-based context.
Thanks to the support of our Diocesan Digital Disciples, the workshop was recorded and will soon be available on our website.
